Start your travels through the picturesque hills of Winchendon, MA. Here you will visit
Smith Country Cheese for a tour and tasting. Anyone who recognizes the appeal of
farm-fresh milk will enjoy the rich and creamy flavor of their delicious cheeses. Then
head over to the Inn at East Hill Farm for delicious homemade country cooking.
Afterwards experience a sense of history as you embark on a two-hour guided tour of
New Hampshire’s covered bridges. These bridges are not only an integral part of the
Monadnock landscape; they’re an excellent place to watch a raging river, beautiful
sceneries and take in the peace and tranquility of the countryside. Each covered bridge
is unique and they are fun to photograph with dustings of pale green pollen and
blossoming gardens provide the perfect backdrop. As you take a closer look at these
simple structures you’ll soon begin to admire the truss systems that form their
skeletons. In between bridges, enjoy the scenic stretches of forest, plentiful lakes,
mountain views, and small villages.
