Farm Passport Program

Thompson is a farm friendly community with over 20 working farms within its borders. The Thompson Agriculture Committee, Economic Development Commission, and Thompson Recreation Department have teamed up to offer this new program to promote locally grown products and outdoor recreation. 

Pick up your free Thompson Farm Passport and then, from May to November, visit and explore the participating farms. Each farm offers varied activities and events (as listed in the passport.) Collect stamps from each farm on your passport. Passports will be available beginning April 19 (Thompson Recreation Office) and in addition, May 5th at the first event in the series and all participating farms. Limit one passport per family.

The first event will be held at Fort Hill Farms, 260 Quaddick Road on May 5, 2019, 1 - 4:00 p.m. Bring your walking shoes & sticks! We will join historians for a tour of the farm;  wagon rides available for those who wish to not walk. Vendors will be present, including a food truck & ice cream. This event goes on rain or shine!

The program concludes at the 2019 Turkey Trot with door prizes (you must be registered to qualify)and fun!! Door prizes include Thompson-Grown Products.
