Baby First Aid Practice

Join us for this hands-on, practical, interactive course. Learn how to handle emergencies, perform first aid - including responding to life threatening emergencies, interview for babysitting job, supervise children, keep kids and yourself safe both in the house and outside, perform basic care routines like diapering, feeding and dressing infants, and children, and other skills that will help make you a successful babysitter. 


Participants will also be learning first aid & Adult, Child, & Infant CPR and  building their own First Aid Kit.


Babysitters will graduate the course with the American Red Cross Babysitters certificate and an American Red Cross First Aid & CPR Certificate.

**Must attend both dates to receive certificate**

General Information
Must attend both classes to receive certificate.
Classes are held Wednesday & Thursday.
Cost includes Babysitter Kit: Handbook, Emergency Reference Guide and CD-ROM with the tools to run your own babysitting business.
The program takes place at the TEEG Builing. Students meet at the TMS Cafeteria after school on the first day of class to be walked to TEEG. After that first class, students walk from the Thompson Schools to TEEG on their own.
Early Bird prices are in effect until one week prior to the program start date. After that date, price increases by $5.00.

If you have prescribed or over-the-counter medication that will be used during the program, and you have not completed the Medication Authorization Form, please print, complete and return. (Form link below. )
